Embers of the Sun, by Ariana May
'Embers of the Sun' from the debut EP 'Perfect for You' by Ariana May.'Embers of the Sun' is a wistful yet strong song about the fading of a relationship. The song shows that beneath this dying flame lies a spark that will always remain. With its upbeat tempo and evocative lyrics, it reflects the inundating power of memory. The EP 'Perfect for You' is a collection of three songs: 'Perfect for You', 'Embers of the Sun' and 'So many things I should have said'. Though each song has a different message, they all possess the same paradoxical moods of poignancy and optimism; inspiring us with courage for the future or comfort in our memories. All the songs revolve around relationships and how each moment in life shapes us and makes us stronger.
